beaded box and frog

Beading: Origami pieces provide many opportunities for embellishing with beading. Ornaments make a quick project for beading and embroidery. A large decorative bead can serve as a pull on a box lid, closure on a purse, or a component of a tassel added to an ornament. The origami shown are simple examples of beading within the reach of everyone's skills. The beading on this box picks out an existing fabric design and reinforces the pattern.
